1 Giant Double Chocolate Cookie

This double chocolate cookie is not only giant but irresistibly gooey, perfect for chocolate lovers.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
