- 1 box jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sauté onions and garlic with the beef.
- Feel free to mix in other cheeses like provolone or cheddar for variations.
