  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup burrata cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked ziti to the skillet and mix well to combine with the sauce.
  6. Transfer half of the ziti mixture to a baking dish, add burrata and mozzarella cheese, then layer the remaining ziti on top.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add cooked sausage or ground beef to the sauce.
