  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a cast iron skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour and whisk for about 1 minute until bubbly.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  6. Stir in the cheddar and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika, mixing well.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding breadcrumbs on top before baking.
