  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously on top of the butter.
  5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a golden finish if desired.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
