  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup biscuit dough (pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, cooking until onions are translucent.
  3. Add chicken, carrots, and celery; cook until chicken is browned.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, simmer for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked.
  6. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
  7. Stir in peas and half-and-half.
  8. Mix flour with a bit of broth to make a slurry, add to the pot.
