  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Push the onions to the side and add the chicken thighs, searing them on both sides until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the apple cider and add thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
