  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (optional)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked bacon (chopped), garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Cook patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  5. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  7. Assemble burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the buns and adding lettuce, patties, tomato slices, and any additional toppings.
