  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then brown on both sides.
  2. Remove the chicken and add onions and garlic to the skillet, sauté until soft.
  3. Add chicken broth, smoked paprika, and thyme, stirring to combine.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with rice or mashed potatoes.

  • For a thicker gravy, whisk in a little cornstarch mixed with water.
