Dutch Oven Lasagna

This Dutch Oven Lasagna combines indulgent layers of flavors with turkey bacon and chicken ham, creating a unique twist on a classic dish.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken ham and cook for a few minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, one cup of mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread some marinara sauce on the bottom of the Dutch oven.
  6. Layer lasagna noodles, followed by the ricotta mixture, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and marinara sauce. Repeat layers as needed.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try adding sautéed vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • This dish is great for meal prep and can be made ahead of time.
