Easy Teriyaki Chicken

A quick and delicious teriyaki chicken recipe that is both sticky and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add the marinating sauce.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the pan. Stir until thickened.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Serve with rice for a complete meal.
