Gluten Free Pretzel Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the gluten free flour, warm water, yeast, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a rope.
  4. Shape the ropes into pretzels and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add baking soda.
  6. Boil each pretzel for about 30 seconds, then remove and place back on the baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, brush the pretzels with melted butter before serving.
  • These pretzel bites are best served warm.
