Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices grilled pineapple
  • 12 leaves lettuce
  • 12 slices cheese, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, crushed pineapple, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, add grilled pineapple slices on top of each patty to warm.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing the turkey patty on a slider bun, topped with lettuce and cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the turkey mixture in the fridge for an hour before forming the patties.
