Herb-Infused Potato Gratin

Delicious and creamy herb-infused potato gratin topped with turkey bacon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or gruyere)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the onion mixture, half of the cream, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
  5. Top with thyme, rosemary, turkey bacon, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • Allow the gratin to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
