  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, vegetable oil, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, reserving the marinade for basting.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 7-10 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade.
  6. Once fully cooked, remove from the grill and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes
