Kielbasa Rice Skillet – Savory, Hearty & One-Pan Delicious!

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the kielbasa over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the garlic and smoked paprika, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add the rice and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked through.
  6. Fluff with a fork and season with salt and pepper.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle some fresh herbs before serving.
  • This dish can be garnished with parsley.
