  • 1 whole chicken, spatchcocked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh herbs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry and place it breast-side up on a cutting board.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Place lemon slices on top of the chicken.
  5. Roast in the oven for 45-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
