Smoked Sausage Alfredo Pasta

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add smoked sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, then pour in heavy cream.
  4. Bring to a simmer and stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until sauce thickens.
  5. Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve garnished with fresh parsley.
