  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
